What is ChatGPT?
ChatGPT is a product from OpenAI. You use it in chats, exchanging messages with it, and its documentation says you can start with a goal, idea or task, and ChatGPT can gather context, take action and produce something useful. It is available on the web, in a desktop app and on mobile.
OpenAI's glossary says chats with ChatGPT work in the desktop app, on the web and on mobile. Its glossary describes the desktop app as one with ChatGPT and Codex, with projects, file previews and scheduled tasks. Coding tasks and command-line tools belong to Codex, OpenAI's coding agent, which has its own entry.
