What is Claude?
Claude is an AI assistant made by Anthropic. People use it to draft documents, analyse data from several sources and work with files and connected apps. It runs on the web, in phone and desktop apps, and through an API for developers.
Claude is built on a large language model, a kind of AI trained on large amounts of text. Anthropic's page for it says Claude can produce editable documents, spreadsheets and presentations, process meeting transcripts and run scheduled tasks.
It also works inside Microsoft 365 and in Chrome, and in Slack through Claude Tag, which is in beta for Team and Enterprise plans. Anthropic's page says people review, edit and sign off on the files it produces.
