SpaceX's earnings release, furnished with an 8-K on 20 October 2026, says its Super Intelligence (SI) segment, formerly reported as AI, had revenues of $7.6 billion in the quarter to 30 September.
- SpaceX reported revenue of $14.6 billion, up 161% from $5.6 billion, and net income of $4.4 billion, against a net loss of $1.1 billion in the prior-year quarter.
- SpaceX says revenues of its Super Intelligence (SI) segment were $7.6 billion, up 830% year-over-year, attributed to new cloud services agreements, the acquisition of Cursor and increased Grok adoption.
- Nameplate compute reached 1.7 GW as of 30 September 2026, up from 1.4 GW on 30 June 2026 and 0.6 GW on 30 September 2025.
These are SpaceX's own figures, from its earnings release, and the reasons given for the Super Intelligence (SI) segment's growth are SpaceX's attribution. Of the $14.6 billion in revenue, SpaceX reports $7.6 billion from SI, and it names cloud services agreements, the Cursor acquisition and Grok adoption as the causes. For anyone buying AI services, the release shows a supplier whose nameplate compute has grown from 0.6 GW to 1.7 GW in a year. A nameplate figure alone does not tell you what capacity is available to a customer. If you evaluate Grok, Cursor or SpaceX's cloud services, ask the vendor which capacity and pricing terms would apply to your contract. Read on →
